Well, yes it is not only possible, many people are quite successful at it. Now before you get all excited, I have to tell you.. it's one of the more boring ways to earn some pennies so if your looking for a fun filled adventure, you won't find it in surveys. Well, there are a few who make their site more 'gamey' so it feels like your playing a game but still, in my humble opinion it's boring and monotomous, but nonetheless I will share with you what I learned first hand trying out the online survey for pennies craze.
First of all, most surveys as they call them are simply looking at ads. Thats right, for most you just have to enter your email and other identifying information, then you just have to 'click thru' and keep a particular ad on your computer screen long enough to get credit for seeing it, and keep clicking through a series of pages to get credit for viewing and most pay around 30-50 cents for completing that boring task then you can go back and do the same thing for another 'survey'.
You will be clicking NO NO Skip No Thanks Skip Skip and No a lot until you get to the end. If you come across a page that says you must click one 'yes' offer, then click 'yes' to one, and when the popup comes on just click it off and continue. I have a guide here at the bottom and and a link to left to show you How far you need to go with each offer. Once you get started you'll quickly learn to recognize each sponsor and what's required and how far you must click to get paid.
ALWAYS Click to do the Free offers and don't ever put in your credit card or other information unless you really want that particular item. You don't have to sign up for anything to make money with surveys and all the survey sites have drop down menu's to chose FREE offers only so be sure to click it. Most of them are simply just signing up for internet sites or looking at ads.
There's a few things you should know before getting started on this adventure for Cashola. If you do these things first, your life will be a whole lot easier and you'll come back to thank me, or bring me presents, or make me your new best friend. Trust me, you'll be grateful you read this first.
Make Disposable Emails
Make yourself a bunch of 'disposable' emails to do the surveys with or your real email will be swarmed with spam before you can blink.
A great free email site is http://www.gmail.com/. The reason Gmail is so great is because they have a trick you can do to turn one email into a lot of emails. What do I mean? The dot trick!
Here's howthe dot trick works...
Suppose you create an email account ISmellLikeADonkeysButt@Gmail.com
You can now place dots between the letters to make 'different' email addys. Like this...I.SmellLikeaDonkeysButt@Gmail.com or ISm.likeADonkeysButt@Gmail.com or ISme.llLikeADonkeysButt@gmail.com
See how I'm just moving the dots around? All the mail will be delivered to the same account, Gmail will recognize it as 1 account, but when your doing offers or surveys, you can use the dots and the survey sites will see it as a different email account each time. Pretty neat trick huh?
Alternate emails! You never want to use the 'same' email for offers, because the sponser will recognize you've already been there and not want to pay you again, so be sure to create a bunch of email accounts, or use this handy dot trick to create endless email addys from just one email account! This trick only works with Gmail Emails

It's Free, It's Easy, and you need to clear your cache between every offer or survey you complete. All it is is a cache cleaner, and you can get the same affect by going to start.. control panel...internet options... delete all...CCcleaner is much easier and faster and you can keep it at the bottom of your screen while doing offers and in one click bam your done. It will also keep your computer running in tip top shape

Create a free phone number
This will be the number you put on the surveys so you don't have to use your 'real' phone number. Remember.. you don't want spam calls so just go here and create a few phone numbers. Heck, create a few of them so you can alternate.

Tip* Use the free phone numbers for all offers and surveys, but use you're real phone number for the actual pay sites your working on. Your phone number is usually how you get verified to get paid and they won't spam you or call you... at least the legimate ones I list on this site won't.
Make sure that your cookies are enabled. If you don't know how, here's how:
Internet Explorer: Select Internet Options, Click on Privacy tab, Click 'default' button, or slide lever to 'medium' click settings, click OK
Turn off your ad blocking software while completeing offers.
Confirm Emails.
If you did an offer that required you to sign up for a site (like classmates.com) or to sign up for a free daily joke in your email or whatever.. make sure and go to the email you used and click the CONFIRM email to get paid. Most sites only pay once you click that email.
Try not to complete the same offer on different sites. This is Fraud. If you've completed an offer on one site, like cashcrate, don't go to another site, like Fusioncash and try and do the same offer again. I know it's hard to keep track but try and keep track of the offers you've done so you don't complete them twice on different sites. This is stealing from the advertisers and a big no no.
How Far Should You Go?
Here's a guide of the different advertiseers and what they require for you to be paid. you will quickly learn to recognize which offer is from which advertiser
Winning Surveys - Complete the survey until until you see the message at the top that reads, "Thank you. Your information has been received successfully."
Big Buck Surveys - About 7-10 pages -- complete the survey until you see the message that reads, "Thank you. Your information has been received successfully."
Consumer Beat - same as Big Buck Surveys -- several pages until you see "Thank you. Your information has been received successfully..." Consumer Expression - complete the survey until you see the message that reads, "Thank you. Your information has been received successfully." Any additional questions and surveys after this message do NOT need to be completed.
Consumer Promotion Center - Submit the second page.
My Elite Rewards - Submit 2nd page.
My Insider Deals - Enter your info and choose an offer on the 2nd page. Submit -- and you are finished.
My Select Gifts - Submit the 2nd page.
Opinion Direct - Continue until you see the message in black at the top that reads, "Thank you. Your information has been received successfully..."
Rewards Gateway - Submit 2nd page.
Survey Networks - Complete the survey until you the message at the top that reads, "Thank you. Your information has been received successful
Sites That Paid
Everything here has been tried and testing by me and I will only include sites on my page that I have been PAID from. Yes, I tried them all as a little experiment...In about a month time I ended up with about $400 total from them all which isn't a bad haul but I have to say again, it was boring as can be.
I know there's gadzillions of sites out there to do surveys on but these are the only ones I can personally recommend that I have been paid from and got the cold hard cash in hand.
Make That Dollar - Another one like Treasure Troopers but not as fun. There is however a lot of one click zip or email submits, a nice group forum and you can earn 'silver' dollars to use to enter drawings, contests, buy referrals, or gift cards. The admin here is very attentive and usually on 24/7 to help with any issues. Payout is anytime you wish, you can cash out daily if you want and receive Paypal or a large selection of other methods. This was my favorite of all the ones I tried.

Cashcrate - As you can see by the banner I made $119.14 at this one during my experiment. They have a lot of Free offers and they add more almost daily. There is a group forum and payout is on the 20th of the month for the following month. You can be paid either Check or Paypal. You can realistically make $50-$250 per month here with little effort doing just the 'free' offers.

Fushion Cash I earned $90.25 on this one. They don't have as many offers but they do add new ones monthly. Payment here is also on the 20th of the following month and they pay both check or Paypal. There is a group forum. Offers don't disappear once you do them here so you have to keep track which ones you did. You can realistically make $50 - $200 a month doing the 'free' offers here

Inbox Dollars - Here you get a $5 sign up bonus and you earn .50 - $1 for most surveys you do and a little less to read emails.. Great site with a neat design, not too many offers to complete but still a good way to earn some extra pennies in between tending your crops on Farmville. Payments are by Check only and you must earn $30 before you can cash out.

So there you have it.. My experience with online surveys. Yes it was a lucrative 30 day experiment for my pocket book but other than Treasure Troopers and Make that Dollar, the rest were pain stakingly boring. But, if you're an online junkie and find you have 5 or 10 minutes of boredom now and then it's not so bad to just click on one of the sites for a few minutes and then you can amass a little piggy bank to cash out some rainy day.
